10 Principles of Heraka


Heraka meaning ‘Pure‘ from the impure was formed, and laid down the following principles.

  1. Worship and fear God.
  2. Do not take on swear in God’s name for falsehood.
  3. Do not fear anything except God.
  4. Do not harm, murder human beings unjustly,
  5. Do not commit adultery.
  6. Do not steal other’s things.
  7. Do not tell a lie; speak the truth.
  8. Do not covet other’s land.
  9. Honour your father and mother.
  10. Venerate the Earth which gives you life.
